A Special Easter Morning
What a wonderful Easter morning it turned out to be! We made our way to Burnie for a display in the carpark of Betta Electrical, which was closed for the Easter holiday — making it the perfect spot for us to set up and welcome visitors!

Friendly Faces and a Sweet Surprise
Mark and Shellene Redman came out to meet us, and it was so lovely to have warm and familiar faces there to help us get Bubsie unloaded and ready for the day. People began stopping by before long, and one of the sweetest things was watching them hurry off to fetch their family members — or send their loved ones down to come and see her for themselves! Word spread naturally and warmly, just the way we love it.
Shellene had also prepared the most delightful little M&M Easter treats to give to the children who came to visit Bubsie — such a kind and festive touch that brought big smiles to little faces!

A Beautiful Day by the Water
The town was quiet and peaceful in the early hours, but from around 10 am Burnie began to wake up and the foot traffic picked up beautifully. And what a morning it was to be outdoors! The sun shone brightly over the stunning waters of Bass Strait, making the foreshore look absolutely gorgeous. There was a cool southerly breeze in the air, but we were rugged up and happy.

Cars, Community, and Warm Connections
A couple of the gentlemen who came to see Bubsie even brought their own cars along — always such a fun and spontaneous addition to the day! We were also deeply grateful for the faithful support of helpers from the local church who gave their time so generously throughout the day. Their help made such a difference and was truly appreciated.

A Full and Blessed Day!
It was a full, fruitful, and joy-filled display day — and a special treat to reconnect with dear friends from years gone by. We packed up just before 3 pm and dropped the trailer at the church property, all ready for the wonderful events planned over the weekend.
