Faith, Community, and a Surprise Gift!
Our time in Murgon was a beautiful reminder that God doesn’t need perfect conditions to move. He just needs willing hearts! The weather had other plans for us, and poor Essie had to stay tucked away in the trailer. But that didn’t dampen our spirits one bit! The local church members showed up with such warmth and enthusiasm for the Health Evangelism talks, and we were blessed to welcome visitors from the wider community too.

Growing Night by Night
Just as we’ve seen time and again on this journey, God kept adding to the numbers. The second night saw even more people gather. A wonderful encouragement that the message was spreading and hearts were being stirred.

A Divine Appointment on a Plumbing Job
One of the highlights was a moment that could only be described as a beautiful God-appointment. A young man was in town doing a plumbing job when church member Ray crossed his path and personally invited him along to the program that very day. He came! And the story doesn’t end there – Pastor Paul connected with him, took down his details, and he is now going to study the Bible with him. What a reminder that God is always working, even through a chance encounter on a worksite!

A Very Special Personal Highlight
And then there was a personal highlight for Pastor Gordon – one he certainly wasn’t expecting! One of the lovely church members brought him a very special gift: his very first snake to see, hold, and handle! It was quite the experience, and one he won’t be forgetting in a hurry! It’s these unexpected, joyful little moments that make this ministry so rich and so full of life.
