Nambucca Plaza: Shopping Centre Success and Family Reunions

Efficient Morning Preparation
We awoke with plenty of time to pack up and prepare our caravans for departure after completing our shopping centre display. This relaxed morning routine allowed for thorough preparation without the usual rush – sometimes having extra time makes all the difference for team morale.

Immediate Shopping Centre Interest
Setting up in Nambucca Plaza carpark proved strategically perfect, with curious shoppers stopping to look and ask questions immediately upon our arrival. The steady morning flow of interested people created continuous engagement opportunities throughout the session.

Lunch Break Strategy and Afternoon Momentum
Our lunch break rotation system worked smoothly, with team members departing in pairs to maintain display coverage while ensuring everyone stayed energised. The afternoon mirrored the morning’s success with consistent visitor interest – only occasional quiet moments when foot traffic naturally ebbed.

Strategic 3 PM Pack-Up
The 3 pm finish provided ideal timing for our transition plans. We efficiently loaded Bubsie and returned to the church property to collect our caravans before embarking on the journey to Kempsey.

Family Reunion and Community Hospitality
Our Kempsey accommodation arrangements showcase the wonderful network of church community support – different families opening their homes to team members. The special highlight is Kevin and Glenda staying at their daughter’s home, providing precious family time that touring life doesn’t often allow. These personal connections make the journey more than just displays and presentations – they create opportunities for relationships and rest.
