Filming & Travel the Nullarbor @ Great Australian Bight SA & Nullarbor
Bubsie: The star!
Early Start and Fuel Stops
We were up early to complete the final uploads from the previous day before losing internet access. Despite the chilly 2-degree temperature, we hit the road by 8 AM, heading to Ceduna for a fuel stop. We then made another quick fill-up at Nundroo to avoid the rising fuel prices.
Smooth Sailing on the Road
The traffic was relatively light, with fewer road trains than expected, making for a pleasant journey.
Preparing for Quarantine
We stopped at Nullarbor Station to enjoy our lunch and consume the remaining fruits, vegetables, and honey, ensuring we could easily pass through quarantine at the border.
Scenic Stops and Filming
It was a cloudless day with lovely sunshine, even though the top temperature only reached around 16 degrees. During the afternoon, we made several stops along the Great Australian Bight to admire the scenery and took the opportunity to film Bubsie driving on the Nullarbor tracks. The main challenge was dealing with the persistent flies, which made filming a bit tricky.
Arrival at Eucla
We arrived at Eucla around 5 PM, but due to the time zone change, our watches showed 4:15 PM. After a time of reflection, exchanging photos, and discussing the plans for the next day, we had dinner and worked on uploading photos and completing the day’s tasks.
