Early Arrival and Chapel Preparation
Our early arrival at Port Macquarie Adventist School strategically avoided the busy drop-off zone chaos while staff completed their morning worship. After signing in, we awaited positioning instructions before unloading Bubsie and driving her to the church for chapel. Strategic bollard placement prepared for the arriving parents and students.

Multi-Generational Chapel Audience
Kevin’s presentation to high school students took on special significance as several students stayed to examine Bubsie afterwards, their upcoming exam schedule making this their only opportunity. Parents and local church members joined the chapel program, creating a wonderful multi-generational audience eager to hear the adventure story.

Hands-On Learning and Resource Sharing
When high school students emerged from the chapel, Glenda guided them through Bubsie’s fascinating features while distributing The Overlander books and QR cards for program access. These tangible resources extend the learning experience beyond the school visit.

Pre-Kindy Enthusiasm and Primary School Excitement
The pre-Kindy class’s brief stop produced pure joy – Glenda’s short presentation earned enthusiastic thumbs up from the youngest students! As primary classes rotated through, Veronica delivered age-appropriate presentations while Karen provided special excitement by successfully cranking Bubsie twice during the morning. These mechanical demonstrations never fail to amaze young audiences.

Efficient Transition to Taree
After the Year 5 & 6 class completed their visit, we packed up and signed out before hitting the road to Taree. Setting up caravans and trailers on the church grounds prepared us perfectly for the upcoming weekend activities.

Our team dinner in the hall and evening preparation time created the ideal foundation for meaningful community engagement ahead.
