A Blessed Sabbath at Belgrave Heights
We made our way to the Regional Meeting, with David driving separately to meet us there. Bubsie was given a prime location right by the steps leading into the auditorium—you couldn’t ask for better visibility! As people began arriving, we handed out Record Breakers QR cards to promote the Incredible Journey programs. It was such a joy reconnecting with familiar faces we’d met when we traveled through Victoria back in April.
Three Minutes of Grace
When Sabbath School began, Kevin was given three minutes to share a report. Here’s the thing—he was scheduled to speak last, and they’d warned us that if earlier speakers ran over time, he might geta full 3 minutes. We were praying he’d get his chance, and God was good as always! Every speaker stayed on time, and Kevin got his full three minutes. He shared exactly what we’ve been doing this year, with photos scrolling on screen behind him. Perfect timing—literally!
A Beautiful Worship Experience
During the break between Sabbath School and worship, we headed back to Bubsie and chatted with people as they came outside. Then we returned for the worship service, and what a blessing it was! The brass band filled the space with glorious music, and the singing was absolutely beautiful.
Pastor Darren Croft delivered an inspirational sermon about the early church in Acts, reminding us of our call to spread God’s love right where we live—in our own mission fields. It was exactly the encouragement our hearts needed.
Lunch Under the Trees
After worship, we lingered to meet people as they left, soaking up the fellowship. Then we enjoyed a lovely lunch with some of Glenda and Kevin’s friends under the shade of the trees—there’s something special about sharing a meal outdoors with good company.
One More Ride
As we packed up Bubsie to head out, we had the opportunity to give a lift to a man who needed a ride to the train station. Since it was right on our way back to the caravans, it was the perfect way to end the day—serving someone in a simple but meaningful way.
A day of reconnection, worship, and simple acts of kindness. Grateful for Sabbath blessings and the community that makes this journey so rich.
