Adelaide Hotel Carpark Display | Moruya NSW
The Classic and Vintage Motor Club of Eurobodalla held a car display event today. Club member Paul Scott had arranged for the group to meet at their usual location, the Adelaide Hotel’s carpark. While. it was not their regular meeting.m., the display had attracted around 10-12 cars from club members and additional members of the public who came to view the vehicles. In total, we interacted with approximately 50-60 people throughout the morning.
During the event, we distributed copies of the story “Bubsie—The Overlander” to interested attendees. A reporter from the Bay Post Moruya Examiner also interviewed Kevin about the Bubsie story.
Club members Graham Cochrane and Paul Scott presented us with a copy of the club’s magazine and two keyrings featuring the club’s logo. Through conversations with some of the members, we gained additional insights into Citroën vehicles, which was informative.
We also contacted the Sapphire Coast Historical Vehicles Club and arranged to meet with them on Monday at 9:30 a.m. south of Pambula. They have a historic vehicle museum, which presents an exciting opportunity, as they also have a small Citroën vehicle in their collection.
After packing up from the event, we returned to our base in Moruya. Following a lunch of Nutmeat Pies and salad, Glen went into town to explore. In the afternoon, Kevin read the club magazine while I wrote this summary and uploaded photographs. We also finalised plans for an event scheduled for tomorrow and completed some laundry.
