A Blessed Sabbath in Shepparton
What a joy it was to arrive at the Shepparton Seventh-day Adventist Church and position dear Bubsie right out front, where she could greet everyone with her vintage charm! As church family began gathering, we set up our welcoming table with QR cards and books, ready to share this beautiful journey with open hearts.

Worship and Sharing God’s Faithfulness
As the service began, we joined the congregation inside for a meaningful time of worship together. Veronica had the privilege of sharing the children’s story—there’s something so special about seeing young faces light up with wonder! Kevin then brought the sermon, weaving together the story of the original trip around Australia with the precious experiences we’ve witnessed on this journey. It was a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness across generations.

The Joy of Young Hearts
Before Sabbath School, Bubsie drew quite a crowd! Two young friends were especially eager to try cranking the car. We smiled as they settled it the only fair way—rock, paper, scissors! The winner’s face absolutely glowed with excitement as he cranked that engine. These are the moments that make this journey so worthwhile.

Connections and Community
After Sabbath School, we had the blessing of more conversations by Bubsie’s side. We shared stories, handed out copies of the Overlander and QR cards, and discovered those wonderful small-world connections—meeting people who knew friends from back home! God’s family truly spans the miles.

Passing the Blessing Forward
Lunch together was a gift—wonderful food and even better fellowship. The conversations around the table lifted our spirits and reminded us of the beauty of community.
As we prepared to pack up Bubsie, the other young boy finally got his turn to crank the car. His joy was absolutely contagious! A brave young lady gave it her best effort too, and though it didn’t quite turn over for her, our young friend happily demonstrated once more—his enthusiasm never wavering.

A Peaceful Journey Through God’s Creation
With Bubsie safely tucked in her trailer, we set off through the most picturesque countryside toward Healesville. The rolling hills and beautiful landscapes were like a gentle blessing after a full day.

Sabbath’s Sweet Close
Our day ended in the warmest way possible—welcomed into the home of Peter and Maggie Smith. Their hospitality blessed us deeply. Over a beautiful meal, we shared stories and laughter. As the sun set, we gathered together for praise and worship, closing Sabbath with hearts full of gratitude.
These moments we treasure—new friends becoming family, young hearts inspired, and God’s presence felt in every conversation and connection.

Thank you for journeying with us. Each Sabbath brings new blessings.
