A Day of Joy at Wagga Wagga Seventh-day Adventist Church
We arrived bright and early, hearts full of anticipation. There’s something special about those quiet morning moments before a big day—setting up Bubsie right at the church entrance, raising the gazebo, positioning the A-frame just so. Inside the cozy entryway, we arranged our resource table with care. Everything was ready, and we could hardly wait!

A Morning of Connection and Stories
As church members began arriving, the most beautiful thing happened—conversations flowed naturally! We found ourselves sharing Bubsie’s story again and again, each time with fresh joy. The Overlander books and QR cards passed from our hands to theirs, and you could see the spark of interest in people’s eyes. There’s nothing quite like that moment when someone “gets it.”
Some of our team headed off to Sabbath School while the rest of us stayed with Bubsie and the resource table. But here’s the delightful surprise—people from the little café down the road started wandering over! Curious community members, drawn by this vintage beauty parked outside, stopped to chat and learn more.

A Celebration to Remember
When the church service began, Pieter, Noel, and Veronica slipped inside—and what a service it was! Ten baptisms! Can you imagine the joy? The celebration? The sense of new beginnings filling that sanctuary? Our hearts were absolutely full.

Unexpected Blessings
As the newly baptized members and their families poured out of the church, we were swept up in the happiness of the day. Conversations bubbled up everywhere, laughter rang out, and the excitement was contagious.
Then came lunch—and oh my, what a feast! The church family had outdone themselves. There’s something about sharing a delicious meal together that makes everything feel like home, isn’t there?

When God Orchestrates the Details
Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, something wonderful happened. Two people from the community arrived, looking for Bubsie! They’d spotted our advertising all the way over in Victoria, looked us up online, and tracked us down to the church. Their enthusiasm was infectious!
We didn’t hesitate—”Come join us for the afternoon program!” we urged. “You’ll love hearing the full story.”
And they did. Afterwards, they told us how glad they were that they’d made the journey. Those are the moments that remind us why we do this.

Pure Delight All Around
The church members were absolutely wonderful—snapping photos, marveling that Bubsie actually runs (she does, beautifully!), and sharing how special it felt to have her at their church for the day. Their joy became our joy, and we drove away that evening with hearts overflowing.
This was definitely an absolutely amazing day! Thank you to each and every one.
