Celebrating 125 Years — Hilliard Christian School’s Anniversary Fair and Car Show
What a day to remember! Hilliard Christian School marked a truly milestone occasion — their 125th Anniversary — with a spectacular Fair day, and we were honoured to be a part of it, with Bubsie proudly joining a wonderful display of classic cars on the school grounds.

A Festive Atmosphere Like No Other
The energy on the day was simply electric! Families poured in to enjoy a fantastic array of rides and stalls, with students from the various grades and the Early Learning Centre all showcasing their projects with such pride. There was truly something for everyone — plenty of activities to keep the little ones busy, and delicious food outlets to keep everyone happily fed throughout the day.
Adding to the excitement, 7HO FM radio station was broadcasting live on site, capturing all the colour and celebration of the day, while Faith FM also had a wonderful presence with their own stall at the school. It was a joy to see the Christian community so well represented!

Sharing Bubsie’s Story — On Air and In Person
We loved every opportunity throughout the day to share the story of Bubsie with the many families who came by to take a look. But perhaps one of the highlights was the couple of live interviews broadcast on 7HO FM during the morning — what a wonderful way to reach even more people with the story!
The radio team were absolutely delighted to step inside Bubsie’s little cabin and experience it for themselves. You could see it in their faces — suddenly the story became so much more real and personal.

A Gentle Afternoon Wind-Down
As the fair wrapped up at 2 pm, we packed everything away and made our way back to where we are staying. But before the day was done, there was time for one more treat — the family got to enjoy some rides in Bubsie themselves, a fitting and joyful end to a truly memorable day.
