A Glorious Day at Richmond Café and Providore
With the temperature climbing to a balmy 28 degrees — positively summery for Tasmania! — the conditions could not have been more beautiful for displaying Bubsie in the charming historic town of Richmond. The warmth in the air seemed to match the warmth of the people, and what a wonderful day it turned out to be.

A Lovely Welcome!
The Richmond Café and Providore had so graciously given us permission to set up at their premises, and just after 9 am we were ready to go. The hours that followed were filled with delightful conversations with the many visitors who wandered over to admire the little car — some drawn by curiosity, others by the lovely atmosphere of this very special town. It was a joy to meet each one.

A Surprise That Warmed Our Hearts
As if the day wasn’t already amazing enough, the café staff went above and beyond by providing us with lunch and drinks throughout our time there. It was completely unexpected and so deeply appreciated — a beautiful act of generosity that we will not forget! Thank you so much, Richmond Café and Providore staff!

Bubsie Captures Every Heart — Right to the Very End!
The interest in the little car just kept on coming throughout the afternoon, with people still arriving to see her well into the later hours. We simply couldn’t bring ourselves to pack up and leave! In the end, we happily stayed on an extra hour to make sure everyone got their chance to say hello. It was, without a doubt, a truly great day!
